Bonnie Raitt Donates Concert Tickets To Benefit Center for Biological Diversity
Pechanga Theater Concert Supports Conservation Group

TEMECULA, Calif.:  Singer, songwriter and activist Bonnie Raitt  donated a number of premium tickets for her Saturday, Dec.  30 show to benefit the Center for Biological Diversity. The concert will be at the Pechanga Theater Showroom at the Pechanga Resort and Casino with special guest Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen.

“We are thrilled that Bonnie Raitt supports our work to preserve habitat in southern California,” said Ileene Anderson, from the Los Angeles office of the Center for Biological Diversity.  “This is the second time Bonnie has donated tickets as a benefit for our conservation work. She has been a long-time supporter of our work to protect imperiled plants, animals and wild places and we’re thrilled for this opportunity to bring our supporters face-to-face with her.”

Premier, reserved orchestra-section tickets are available and include a private, backstage, after-show dessert reception with Bonnie. Additional reserved seats benefiting the organization are available. Prices, availability and seating chart are listed online. Tickets are on sale now and can be ordered on-line at http://www.guacfund.org or by calling (310) 374-4837.

Among its many projects in southern California, the Center for Biological Diversity has led the effort to keep essential and irreplaceable habitat protected and retained as “core two” of the West Riverside Multi Species Habitat Conservation Plan, located near Temecula. Based upon scientific findings, the Center is mobilizing its membership and educating the public about this part of the plan that is essential to the survival and recovery of both the California gnatcatcher and Quino checkerspot butterfly.

“We hope that people will come out to support our work by buying these great reserved tickets.  Fans and our members should jump at the chance to meet such a great musician and activist as Bonnie,” concluded Anderson.
